Meet Jonathan
I picked up the guitar at 13 after ditching the trombone — and I haven’t looked back. What started with basic chords and Grateful Dead songs eventually led me to classical guitar, a music degree from Guilford College, a Master’s from the University of Hawai’i, and a Fulbright Scholarship researching music in China.
I’ve been teaching guitar since 2014, helping students go from struggling with their first chord to performing Bach and Tárrega with confidence. Now I’m putting everything I know into free video lessons so anyone, anywhere can learn.
